Looking Forward, No Going Back.
The theme of this year's Pride, apparently, and words for me to live by even as the "hyper-straight" one of my happy lil' slanshack.
I had some trepidation about telling work why I was not wanting to work all of a long weekend, but as it turned out, the assistant manager was very supportive, wished he could go, they don't have this sort of thing where he's from, hope you take lots of pictures.... Nice to know that even in a retail must-please-everyone business owned by a notorious fundamentalist, there are some cool folks getting promoted.
If anyone wants to co-ordinate with me, you may let me know here where you expect to be, you may use my Yahoo! Email, or if you have my phone extension or the apartment's number you may call. I won't be in Saturday evening until 10:30 PM, which will limit my ability to reply... but I will acknowledege. Also, there's always the morning itself, if you can. (Probably the best, for then I should know how many other apartment dwellers are coming up with me, and by what means....)
At any rate, I hope to see at least some of you through the crowds, and remember, that night, Sanctuary at the Marble Arch. Should be fun.
