Ahh Baby Season
Lots to come too but for now the hoof stock are dropping, this is what I know as of wednesday. The reindeer have almost all arrived, one little ibex is bouncing along the rocks behind mom, two markhor who got rejected are being bottle fed, and three little bison are frolicing.

Ru's mother is Barkley, she is a first time mom and the last daughter of our much loved former bull Doxie. Blizzard is Ru's dad, he has been away on loan to Calgary for the winter and should have arrived back home yesterday. Barkley had a really hard time with Ru, we ended up having to run her through the squeeze and the vet team had to assist.

In house news the bedrooms are now painted, hooray. The moulding on the stair case has been repaired/replaced and I've started working on chipping out the closets so they can be patched up and painted. I didn't know they would require as much work as they do, it seems like every where I turn there is a job I didn't expect to need doing :/
And lastly, Paws in Motion is coming up! It is the annual fundraiser for the humane society. Penny and I will be walking it again, it was very fun last year and I'm sure it will be great again :)
Because I'm desperate for donations I'm posting the link here too :P I failed hard at the fundraising last year so I'd really like to make up for it this time around.
