Penny's Vet Adventure & Monkeys in my Future?
On tuesday I took Penny in to see a holistic vet for second opinion on her allergy problems. It went really well, she was happy with the diet I've got Penny on, which was fantastic to hear as I was warned by a few people that she would likely want me to change it. Instead she told me that if Penny was her dog that she'd be feeing the same diet :D
She gave me a plan for dealing with the allergies, said Penny might be allergic to her own bacteria and the plan is all about getting her system in balance. There are a lot of steps but it all sounds good. Lots of supplements, a couple extra loads of laundry & bathes and Penny could be a happy healthy puppy :)
In other news, my hearing is fast approaching and I've been told that if I win then I will spend the majority of the summer working in the monkeys. I've never worked there before, I had one day of training there and that is it. I really hope I win, I'd really love to have my spot back. In a perfect world I'd get my ORIGINAL spot back but that is just wishful thinking at this point so I'd just be happy with regaining the one place.
In happy news, Blizzard is now a daddy! His daughter Bobbi was just born yesterday, very exciting :)
