Finally I have time to update this! Been quite some time...
Of course, the last couple weeks of school were hellish and very very busy. But I finally finished it!! This semester is OVERRRRR.
Grades:
Anthropological Theories: A
Mythology: A
Research Methods: A-
Dynamics of Asia: A-
Honors: B+
That B+ is pure B.S...but whatever. My GPA is still 3.6 something, so I'll just have to be content with that. =]
Then after school, I immediatelyish started studying for the GRE! Haha, no break for meee. For a week I studied for the GRE, reteaching myself Math completely, and trying to teach myself vocab (didn't work). Took the test today. I think I did okay? Verbal: 460, and on Quantitative: 630. Don't know what I got on the writing portion yet, but I'm pretty sure I got a 4 - 5. Still don't know how I feel about my score though. What score is recommended for scholarships or to get money period?
Finally got a podiatrist to look at my foot. Seems that all the pain and everything is caused by my ridiculously flat feet. He looked at them and he was like "you probably shouldn't even walk around bare-foot." He recommended some sandals I should wear around the house that have ridiculous arch support...I'll get them when I can. In the mean time, I'll just have to deal with it. I got inserts for my running shoes though, so I can finally start running again. =]
I also have a new obsession, 2 actually.
-One is Alice. Anything and everything Alice in Wonderland, I'm totally for. Just got a shirt and two tea-cups of Alice. I'm trying very hard to get to the Wonderland Musical theater production being shown here in Tampa.
-The other obsession: Andrew Lee-Potts. He's a cutie. I've been trying to watch everything he's in. I really wanna see Primeval. But I wanted to see that before I knew he was in it, but him being in it makes me wanna watch it more. =] horray!
Oh yeah! Guess who's going to the Czech Republic in the summer? I am!!! For Archaeology Field School!!! I'm soooo excited =] One of the classes I hope to take deals with skeletons and such!! I don't think it can get much better! Well, it could...If I got a scholarship or something else to pay for it =p.
Don't know if I mentioned it, but next semester I have an awesome Internship! I'll be working with the Seminole Indian tribe and the archaeologists there. I'll be going Tuesdays and Thursdays. Tuesdays doing field work, and Thursdays either fieldwork or lab work. Not sure yet. =] But the people there are SUPER nice and were very accommodating. So I'm even more excited. =]
And I think that's everything updated...who knows though...
Now as I'm done studying, I can finally start making people's gifts...There's so much to do >_< But hopefully this will be fun creative stress, which is better than school-determining-my-future-stress. =p
