Now that I have that out of my system, on to sillier things!

Percy Jackson & the Olympians, Book 1. Basically? I want the next books. Like yesterday. It picked up so very much after the first two chapters and I'm glad I kept with it. I'm actually really curious to see the film version of it now to see what differences there were. Had a glimpse at the cast list, though, and...yeah, there are a few that completely don't match my mental image of them--or the book's description for that matter--but what do I know? Maybe it wasn't so bad with make-up, badass costumes, etc.

And I've rediscovered my love for Due South ♥ Ohmygosh, I haven't watched this show in years and I think I love it even more than I did back then. And Paul Gross...mmm.

Due South, along with Highlander: the Series and Forever Knight form this...trifecta of 90s TV drama that I'll always adore, no matter how cheesy it or the music gets. I own a couple seasons of the latter two, but not Due South One day, that will be rectified. It's on the list with Sapphire & Steel and a few Doctor Who ones (like Deadly Assassin, Invasion of Time, any of Delgado!Master's earlier serials, and season 3 of the new series.) But for now, youtube has come in handy! I've missed watching it and I'd forgotten so much, except for Diefenbaker, Fraser's "thank you kindly"'s and sheer awesomeness in tracking/noting details, and the switching of the Rays.

I look forward to watching more soon. ^^

EDIT: Holy cow... There's one episode where they go undercover as used-car salesmen. The price of the used cars absolutely kills me. $400 for a vintage '78 Comet?? $100 for a Jeep? *cries* Even if that place IS a scam, it still just kills me how vastly different things are now.
