so disappointing
*sigh* It looks like once again the place we were going to move into has fallen through. I'm getting so frustrated. Why is it so hard to find a decent place that's big enough for us that doesn't cost more then $600 a month? When we find a place and we think everything is set up then somehow a snaffoo comes into the picture. With the first place it was "woops, we didn't know you had a baby.. sorry, no can do" the second place was " we just made a deal with the landlord so we don't have to rent it out afterall, sorry, the last place was "we need to run a credit check and you have to pass it to rent it. Sorry.
It just seems like we're not destined to live anywhere and I'm getting very upset. I miss Mike and he misses us. He's working so hard and he's so miserable right now. Back issues, eye issues, arthritis, he's lonely and I found out this morning that I could have gone yesterday to spend the night with him and see him most the day today but he didn't know his roomate was going to be gone from last night into christmas until last night. So he's home in an empty house without anyone and I hate it. I wanted to see him and at least spend today with him so he could have a holiday with his family and once again, nothing works out in our favor. We have the worst luck.
Today is my Pappy's birthday so we went out to eat and that meant we had to take the baby to a restaraunt. His first time at a restaurant. It was... interesting. He's a little messed up right now. He's wanting to eat 2 ounces every 2 hours. It's a pain. He hasn't done that for a month. And he fights sleep like a fiend. Plus he's teething we think and add that to the fact he's just like both his parents and gets hot really easily. So he gets hot and he starts screaming. There was a good 5 minutes in the restaraunt that he was completely naked except for his diaper. It was a little funny. He was happy as a clam though. So I had a naked baby who was just cooing and talking to eveyone including the waitress. Very funny.
I'm excited for tomorrow. Arthur is going to be sooo spoiled. He's already gotten some of his presents from Mom and Dad. Adriel, crazy girl that she is, sent him 3 gifts. I have no idea what anybody else got for him but I'm excited to find out and see his reactions to things.
So on that note, I must go and get food. Merry Christmas everyone! I promise I'll put up arthur x-mas pics as soon as I get home. :)
