Second night of auditions for The Miss Firecracker Contest showed a helluva lot more people than the first night. But the competition for men was basically nil. The only male who got called back from Second night, was Rashad. All the men who auditioned first night were called back. I knew this would happen, after I heard tonight's readings.
I got called back. I knew I would. I'm still extremely confidant about my readings. I know a little more and will play up to those extremities of the characters Wednesday night. I had a great reading with Analisa at second night auditions. I knew she was talented, but never have worked with her before. After we read together, I knew that it was a great reading. She and I fed off each other just as easily as
badlovemojo and I do. It felt really good.
The women tonight really gave Tod a run for it. I know that the women I'd most likely look toward would be Brianne, Analisa,
badlovemojo, Joelle, Bonnie. These are the ones who stood out most to me. Joelle would make a GREAT Popeye, and Brianne, Analisa, Leisel would all make a great Cornell.
It would be damn cool to be either Del Mounte or Mac Sam. As
captainpenguin stated, it would rock if he and I got those two roles together. Of course, I can also see the possibilities of a couple other guys too.
Keep your warm wishes going for my callbacks. And damnet don't say GOOD LUCK. You do so, I'll remove you from my buddy list and block you from posting!! Again, the correct terminology to say to an actor before auditions or performances is "BREAK A LEG!"
Of course there are always those of you who think it's funny to go overboard. I've heard:
"Break both legs.", "Break your neck.", "Break a penis.", "Hope you break all your bones in your body."
WTF? Why do people have to go to extremes? Just say Break A Leg. I'll respect you much more for it!
AND....BOOBS!!!!! That is all.
