I'm not sure what happened here. One minute we're at each other's throats... then... yeah. The way it turned out for the best, really. No sense going around in circles 'till we're all starkers. And I think it's important to make concessions in debates. Our senatorial and presidential candidates would do well to learn that.
I don't even know what to say about the Bailout thing. It's obvious that the greedy crooks fucked themselves over, and they want help from the very people they stole money from. I don't care anymore, honestly. It's hard to care; you can only take so much before it's all just white noise. I will say this. If McCain wins, I'm moving to Chamonix.
I am so bloody relieved that PSYC 250 is done with. I hated that damn class and the morons in it. It served no purpose for me except to fill out the last two credits I need, and this may even become a moot point. I may NOT graduate in December if it means that I need to re-do my GELS and core area classes for a Science Education degree. But that means I wouldn't have enough credits to double major... I am MOST vexed about this. I shall speak to my advisor forthwith about this.
It appears as though a miniature nuclear reactor has implanted itself in my arm. I received a tetanus booster on Wednesday, and thus there is a hard lump and bruise in the vicinity, and the damn lump is radiating heat like Chernobyl's #4 reactor. It cannot have helped that I keep banging that arm against things, such as the metal window frames on the bus. Perhaps I should be sitting on the opposite side.
A disappointing trend: All the recent releases by my favorite bands are hideously expensive. In Extremo-"Sangerkrieg": $17-$60. Eisbrecher-"Suende": $23-$40. L'Ame Immortelle-"Namenlos": $18-$50. Oomph!-"Monster": $29 and up. Someone want to explain to me what the hell is going on? Oh sure, blame it on the fact that they're EUROPEAN bands. Well pish and tush to that!

Airfix/Buccaneer S2B: Finally, a proper Buccaneer. A $40 kit for $10.
Kotobukiya/Saber Fang Schwartz: Hurr. Doesn't release until January. Finally, I shall have a GOOD kit of the Saber Fang. I'm glad I held off and didn't order the standard HMM Saber Fang. This one is black, and has a bloody great big gattling gun.
HLJ informed me that they didn't get nearly enough King Gojulas to cover all their pre-orders, so the blame lies with Tomy. They're currently trying to get more stock, but still... WANT IT NOOOOWWWW. Toywave doesn't get 'em in for at least two weeks. pointytilly, I'm willing to bet it's the same situation with your Gilvy. Bastards.
I haven't talked about games for a while. I'll take about games for a bit! I'm still on my Castlevania bender, though I see it waning a bit, at least until Order of Ecclesia (October 21st, yo). I just bought Star Trek Tactical Assault and FFXII Revenant Wings, both for DS, so they beg to be played. I haven't had a bleeding chance to use any consoles in almost two weeks now, so there's nothing new there. And some good news: Dead Rising will be out on the Wii, and I can't say no to more zombie slaughtering. Also, I was bovvered to the utmost degree by the fact that the original Klonoa game for PS1 was so sodding expensive, but that no longer matters, as it will be ported to the Wii. Ha!
