Five films that mean a lot to me: Devil's Advocate, In the Mouth of Madness, Event Horizon American Psycho, and the Aliens Quadrology (*Edit: when I posted this last night, I apparently could not count. Also, I am pulling the same move that my arch-roommate, Pete did and include and entire series of movies as a single movie. So there).
