Oh yeah, as the last time i was serious updating this was when i was running in the mornings it would make sense to mention my weight. I stopped doing the running because, seriously, screw that noise. I like my sleep. I also was aiming towards getting under 11 stone and when i managed it i just went "yay!" and stopped.
Over time my weight crept up again and I actually hit 12 stone 4lb in September last year. Screw THAT noise! It was really depressing me, my clothes didn't get etc. etc. So I got the MyFitnessPlus app, essentially a calorie counter and diet tracker. It limited me to around 1,300 calories a day. I switched to special k cereal, skimmed milk, cut out sugar in my hot drinks and switched to diet soft drinks, and I cut out crisps and bread from my diet as much as possible. So instead of having sandwiches for lunch I have a tin of soup.
Doing that alone and without any exercise regime beyond walking to and from work (which is a good half hour journey each way, so that's an hour of walking every work day) has meant that as of right now I have gotten my weight down to a much better 10 stone 7 lb. Phew! I'm gonna keep working at it until I get to around 10 stone so I have a buffer zone and I'm also going to try and tone my stomach a bit but otherwise I'm actually happy about my weight for the first time in years. It's the first time where I actually notice that i have to wear my belt tighter and tighter. In fact I had to get a whole new belt!
Feeling pleased with myself on that front.
