OK. As of earlier today, the snow had pretty much gone in London. So I'm being optimistic, especially as D will be meeting our US guests at Gatwick tomorrow in his Landrover. By hook or by crook, I will get to Grantham tomorrow, there will be a filkcon this weekend, and the darkest hour will be just Before the Dawn. :D
And on a different note, my niece gave birth to a bonny baby girl this afternoon - my fourth great-niece. I haven't been told a name, yet. :D
