Both Ukrainian Christmas and Easter are rich with ancient traditions woven into the fabric of the holiday. I love the connections; these ways we remember those who came before us. On Friday night we drove up to Lake Geneva with the kids. We were up at 5:30 am on Saturday morning to have a tasty breakfast and then head off to Phantom Lake to set up for my pysanka workshop as part of the Enchanted Spring celebration.

It's been an up and down sort of weekend. Turns out Liam came down with a full blown ear infection and high fever, so he's back on antibiotics (as much as I hate to give them to him). Hopefully we'll see improvement tomorrow. It's been rough at night, and he's been sleeping poorly (so we've been sleeping poorly).
