When the night falls, and the sun sinks, you can see something just before the horizon. Dark clouds, piling up, merging, slowly covering what little light there is of the sinking sun and the moon.
For maybe one hour, it is nearly pitched black, and all you can do against that is bring your candle out and around the ship.
And then, at the first hour of the night, it begins.
The worst storm that you have ever been in. And suddenly, the big, massive ship doesn't seem as safe and fancy as it was in the beginning. It is your job now to fight the elements and keep the ship from meeting the ground of the ocean.
[[Characters that are washed overboard will drown painfully, at least until they lose consciousness, and wake up at the beach on the next day.]]
