Two of the weirdest things ever just happened to me.
1) There was a long piece of fucshia (how do you spell that?) glitter on my crêpe. WTF? Where did it come from? I watched them make it!
2) My internet totally tripped out and every site I told it to load turned into the "log into UC Davis wireless connection" page, and kept refreshing randomly. It then told me I had no internet, yet kept loading the two log in pages. I had to restart Firefox and my airport connection to fix it. WTF?
Also, today for the very first time, I took a nap on campus. I'm incredibly self-conscious about sleeping in public, but I was SOOO tired... I explored the library until I found one of those huge window seats on the third floor, and although it wasn't comfy (stupid lack of cushioning), I read for a bit and then took a 45 minute nap, and I feel SO much better now.
I still have no idea how I can set an alarm for 7:30, hit snooze once, and wake up at 8:20. Thank god for persistant kitties. If not for Katie's NEEEEEEED to be fed, I would have slept in way too late.
Also, today's weather report said 100% chance of precipitation. LAME. It's actually only rained for a little bit this morning, but it's grey and dreary and totally crap weather anyway. I cannot WAIT until summer.
Sore throat is getting better. Cough is getting wetter. I guess that's good?
Tonight is the mandatory EAP assembly thingie in Freeborn. You know, the final details about going abroad and all that. KINDA WISH I KNEW WHERE I WAS GOING! *mutter* I have a feeling it's going to be Dublin, though. This depresses me, but what am I supposed to do? Wait and see, I guess... I could still be pleasantly surprised...? But if the application is in Dublin (which it is), that probably means it's already been rejected from RHUL. !@#$% Why am I not good enough?? I sent my application in way early too, and had a lot of good reasons why I should go to RHUL. *grumble*
I wish my conference with my English teacher weren't at 1:45. I hate randomly being on campus for three hours.
wtf,
weird,
random,
weather,
studying abroad
