Yay for Dirkey Turkey
As I was taking out my frequent crêpe eater card (for my free lunch! Yayyyy I had 10 stamps!), I saw some writing on the back of it, and it said thusly:
"Asbestos, go home! But not to my home, because you cause cancer." ~Dirk
Which is from when we sang "Home By Another Way" when I was a freshman and there's the verse that goes "It's best to go home..." which sounds like "asbestos go home". Seeing that little quote made me smile... it's like, even though I'm up here in Davis and really missing my old life, there's a part of it still with me.
Unfortunately, I had to give that card back to the people because, you know, I used it. So I had to immortalize that quote. It brightened my day.
