In other news, today was a really good day, considering. Yes, I'm still bright red and itchy (less spots and more RED now, I think because I've been scratching >_<) (okay, before you tell me not to scratch, I'd like to see YOU not scratch with this much of a rash), but... well, I took benadryl before class today (since it hasn't been making me sleepy like normal), and I got sleepy for the last half hour of class, but that was nice because that meant I fell right asleep when I got home and slept for 3 hours. UNINTERRUPTED. Nobody called my freaking cell phone (I would turn it off but that's the only alarm I can hear these days), nobody bothered me, and I DIDN'T wake up in an itching frenzy for the first time in a couple days. YAY!!!
Then I went to Samantha's... and it was the BEST DAY EVER. She is getting so smart! She can say "watch" now, and knows the sign for "please", and so if she grabs for something, you say "please? Say 'please', Sami" and she makes the sign and then giggles when you give her the object. AHHH SO CUTE!!! And she just kept laughing and giggline all afternoon... awww! She shared her dried cherries with me (pushed them into my mouth) and I was lying down on the floor with my knees bent and so she sat on my stomach and I bounced her around... and then she would lie down and cuddle with me, and cover me with a blanket, and point out my facial features, and play with my belly button and toes, and... here's the best part though: When I first got there, her dad changed her diaper (he'd JUST picked her up, and she'd pooped, haha) and then the instant he put her back on the floor she RAN to me and jumped into my arms! She gave me a hug! SO CUTE!! OMG I LOVE THAT KID!! It was SO cute when she was cuddling with me on my stomach, though... I felt like a real mommy. That's gotta be the coolest feeling in the world. I don't care what Cosmo says about how much pain giving birth is, I want a baby! Not right now, of course, but once I'm married and settled down... ahhhh I really want to raise a family. I hope my daughter is just like Samantha. Only not Asian, because (in the event I marry Steven), that means it's not mine. LOL.
I don't normally *squee* but Samantha totally gets one. *squee!!*
AND I bought a new box of baking soda. 99¢ for two half-hours of pure comfort? OH yeah.
Though I do with the people next door would STFU. Today it's mariachi music. Reminds me of home! Haha remember that, Julia?
