I thought I would pop this fic's comment cherry with a few thoughts that never made it into the beta because, well, I love this fic that much.

I like that this touches on the recent discussions on abortion in regard to men who are willing to take equal responsibility for their children. It takes two to make a baby and while abortion is generally considered in reference to a woman's control of her own body, there are other effects of the act such as the loss a father who wants the child might feel. The emotional backlash of having made a choice without proper time or resources to arrive at a well-considered, mature decision is also painfully obvious here. It's very evident that no one gets up and walks away (emotionally speaking) after such an event and the ripples are far-reaching. Another aspect touched on was the emotional complications of threesomes and what can be revealed by couples and what can't--the line She wants to know what he would have done if it had had Chris’s dark hair and not their golden brown. is a stark ( ... )

Be careful or I might start thinking that you like my fic. ;)

Just wanted to say again how much I enjoyed the fic. I second what k_leale said about JC and Lance. They helped/supported Britney in a way that was not an overt sign of support, but it was there nonetheless.

It's still a very sad story, and even though she wants to be with Kevin the tone is that she'd rather be with someone(s) else. This was a great fic :D

*hugs* Thank you. (I still can't believe I almost got you to feel bad for Britney. I'm worried about the state of the world...) ;)

She remembers the bootleg clearly though. The smooth sound of his voice made her belly ache and she knew she didn't have his forgiveness just by the way he said her name.

This made me feel all tingly.

She saved the message, listened to it over and over for a month. His voice steadied the unstable beat of her heart.
She still listens to it every time she thinks about doing something stupid.

This too. Britney and Chris. They are my het OTP.

The whole story kinda tore my heart. Really. I love Britney. I think she is dramatic and you captured it well. Good job.

They're heading that way for me. Though, really, I just want to find some good Brit/Chris/Justin fics. Because as a threesome they're so diverse and fascinating. I want fic.

Thank you very much. I'm glad you enjoyed and found the characterization on. I was a little worried about that.

out of all the images here that i liked, and there are a lot (i think the runner up has to be chris's form of support, which is very chris), i think the one i liked best was of the safe that she stored eveything away in. it's like a memory box, but for pop princesses. and somehow that seemed so very, very britney. well done.

Thank you very much.

I really do sincerely appreciate the feedback. It means a lot to me.

and now I'm going to go giggle. Because a memory box for a pop princess is a several thousand dollar safe hidden under the carpet. *grins* It is pretty damn Britney, isn't it? ;)
