Hello earthlings! (sorry I couldn't help myself)

I recently stumbled across an interview with Ville in french Rock On magazine. I have no idea when it was released but it's after Screamworks came out. Since I felt so cheap about posting the crappiest article ever, I added a couple of pictures as well. Credits go to nimoti for the scan of the article. Finally, I wanted to share with you a really old video interview (1999) I had never seen before since it has some delightful added material such as :
- the dorky laugh (you'll love it)
- his early finnish/british clumsy accent
- his odd pronunciation (listen when he answers the first question)
- random questions.

Here is the video interview : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDDsI8ymGPw&playnext=1&list=PLEED95368063B8222&index=59

Here is the translated article :

Line-up:

Ville Valo (singing), Mikko Lindström (guitar), Mikko Paananen (bass), Janne Puurtinen (keyboard) and Mika Karpinnen (drums).

News:

News pour in about the release on February 8th of “Screamworks : Love in Theory and Practice”, the seventh HIM album. Recorded in Los Angeles with producer Matt Squire (The Used, Panic! At The Disco), this new record from the Finnish band led by the mysterious Ville Valo is preceded by the single “Heartkiller”, whose 30 seconds preview  is already playing on the heartagram website. The record artwork has also been revealed and it is very peculiar : it actually represents a nun’s bust with four eyes and two mouths as well as the famous heartagram right in the middle of the chest. It might be a provocation from the bard of love metal, whom will perform during an exceptional concert in London on St-Valentine’s day before going to Australia for the Soundwave festival. An European tour will follow in Germany, the Netherlands,  the Luxemburg, Scotland and England.

" Between this album and the previous, it is day and night. 'Venus Doom' marks the darkest moment of the group and, even though I love it, we could not do the same thing. This one is as direct as possible, much faster and it does not have any balads."

For fans of : Lovex, The 69 Eyes and Negative.
