(no subject)
Okay....quick recap of events up until Tuesday....
Saturday: Mostly today, I did homework. I talked to my mom. She keeps me updated on my siblings. And she tells me about the costumes and stuff that she is making for the Highschool...right now, she is making costumes for Merideth and Trevor for Hello Dolly. Fun stuff. Can't wait until I go home next weekend. Oh...I made bread. All by myself. And it was good bread too. I was well pleased.
Sunday: Church. I had to go to Priesthood. That's NEVER fun. Oh man, that's just WAY too many guys for me. They're kinda intimidating like that. And it doesn't help that the hole note thing stresses me out a lot. After church, we made dinner and then had a picnic in the living room. OH...and I watched Alias. I LOVE that show! That right there just totally makes my day. Even just remembering that I watched it makes my day. Ahh...the little things in life.
Monday: Got up at 7:00 and studied for my church history test. Hopefully I did well enough to get a really high score with the curve. *crosses fingers* After my classes, I came home and worked on my lesson for family home evening. FHE was at the Lynsky's and it was a lot of fun. They are such sweet people. We really have a pretty great ward. Good leaders and good people. I love it.
Tuesday: Got up early to go save seats with Charles and Danielle in the Marriot Center for Brooke and Sarah. It was a good talk yesterday. I really enjoy Elder Maxwell's talks. Anyways...then I went on campus and did homework and stuff, went to class, ate carbonated ice cream...the usual. Well, maybe not the carbonated ice cream thing...but the rest, for sure is ususal. Anyways...I got home and by 8:00 every one had left. After a while, Isaac came and invited me over to have ice cream with him and Charles. So I went and hung out with them, then with Nate, then with Nate and Brooke and Charles. Then, Brooke and I went to apartment 27 where they wouldn't let me visit teach them...*sigh* Who am I to believe? Chris and Adam who say that visiting teaching is ONLY for the sisters, or John and Luke, who say that they wish that they had visiting teachers? Oh well. So we went to 27 and Chris and Brooke fought/flirted/defended themselves from each other? Whatever...all I know is that I saw interdigitation and that means that I should get M&Ms. Yeah. Well...she's off the hook for now...but next time...(heh, heh, heh)
Okay...now for today. I got up a whole hour later than Monday and Tuesday. I was so impressed with myself. I went to campus about 11:00, sat down in some grass, rolled up my jeans and did homework for a half hour, then talked to my mom. Told her that I'm going on a date this weekend. (I was quite surprised that my dad didn't break out and "Praise His Holy Name") We talked about just stuff. Then, I got free food. I've decided that that's the one thing BYUSA is good for...free food. I went to my classes, ran into Brent Rowse and then came home. My mom called not long after I got home and told me how my high-school teachers are doing. They all requested that I come spend the next Friday with them. We'll see...not quite sure that I can handle high-school again. Then, I went to institute with Brooke. I haven't quite decided what I think of institute. It's good, but I kinda feel like I could be doing other things that are just as worthwhile and be productive. But it was a good lesson. And the food afterwards is good. And that has been my day. OKay, time to go back to homework.
