Off to Zanzibar, to meet the Zanzibarbarians...
Okay, not really. Actually, I feel pretty crappy right now. Oh well, just par for the course, I guess.
General conference was really nice. Saturday, Charles had to work all day, so I cleaned and baked while I watched. It was pretty amazing, actually. My house is spotless...well, was...and I made butter bars, brownies and rice crispy treats, all in two hours. And, while Charles was at Priesthood session, I went shopping with Danielle and Brooke, which was fun. It's nice to have people to spend time with. I'm actually hoping we get to do that a bit more before they all leave. Anyway, Saturday night, we had Brooke spend the night, so we could leave really early for the Conference Center Sunday morning. We had lunches packed and in the morning, breakfast all ready. I also had a roast in the crockpot for dinner that night. It was a ton of fun to go to conference in the Conference Center with Charles and Brooke, especially since next conference we'll have a little baby and will be confined to our apartment to watch. All in all, it was just a nice weekend.
Hopefully I'll be feeling better tomorrow and can get myself back on a good housekeeping routine. I've been quite the homemaker recently, you all would be amazed. Although, when my house is clean, I run out of things to do. Oh, what the paradox. I guess I'll just have to do more reading. Sad. ;)
