What's been happening.
First, Happy New Year. I know, I'm kinda late but, well, I've been busy. Mainly, I took the plunge and went back to college. I'm doing an online degree so this should be fun. My attention span was never that good to begin with, but we'll see. So far for the first week assignments I got A's so that's a good start. And let me tell you, accelerated courses do NOT start easy. For the next 4 months I have to do core classes before we get to the degree classes. But I have a Goal. First I'm working to receiving my MacBook Pro. Then I'm going to graduate with my Bachelors Degree in Computer Animation. (Mare, if you're reading this, I have to take drawing classes. Got any pointers or old how-to books you can send my way?)
Now the down side to this is that since this Online school is out of state, My states Unemployment wont count it as going to school so If I want to get paid my unemployment money I have to still apply for jobs and hope I don't get hired since as soon as I don't accept a job, My unemployment will be denied, even though I'm going to school. Gota love how the government makes things hard to get money that you paid while you were working just for this reason. But hey, I'll show them. I'll graduate and go work for either Dreamwerks or Pixar or, if I'm really lucky, I'll find something close to home so I don't have to move from the mountains. Atlanta is growing, after all. Still, first goal, get through the core classes and get my MacBook.
