Quick update, still doing good in classes with the next class being Production Modeling. This class will either make or break me when it comes to actual modeling if that's the way I want to go. Actually I like some modeling, for my last class for Project management I I started a Dalek model. He's not completely done since I took too long with the details but I will finish him. If anyone want's to see where I got on him, send me a comment and I'll put up a picture.
And now on to something that will make my mother pull her hair out and ask me why I didn't do this the first go around. It seems, because my GPA is over 3.4, I've been nominated to join the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. As my husband described this to his brothers when this was mentioned, I now have proof that I can legally be a smartass. All I mostly care about is now I can find out about more scholarships so that maybe I'll be able to pay off the school bill when I do graduate, which is now one year closer.
I came across something online that sort of gives me hope that maybe I'll be able to do my computer graphic from home. I came across an anime like animation that not only was it done in 3D but it was done with Poser. It's called RWBY. I was impressed with it and, like I said, was done in Poser, which I have as well as all these other programs now that class calls for. Like I said, it makes me hope I can do this close to home. I figured that if nothing else, come time to graduate, I'd be looking around Atlanta for a job. I'm still hoping by then we'll have won the lottery so I'll have a car of my own to get to work, but... well... We'll see when I graduate. In the meantime, still doing classes, still keeping my grades up, and still planning on doing my best to do this from home.
And on a more fun note, TimeGate's coming up again, and this year we get a Doctor. Paul McGann will be here and I'm going to do my best to make sure I at least get a picture.
Ok, so that's it for this go around. Like I said, leave a comment if you want to see a picture of the Dalek I started to model and still need to finish or give me ideas on what other science fiction thing I could try and model. I think I'm leaning more toward the hardware than the organic modeling type, but then again, get the right inspiration and I may go the other way, you never know.
See you next time.
