a better day than yesturday
Today was such a beautiful day until just about 5 minutes ago. the sun was shining, it was hot like a summer day and i was having a great hair day. now its cloudy and about to pour. but that doesn't rain on my parade because i am back at my apartment and won't get caught in it. the walk from my class and the main campus area is about 15 minutes away. that would suck if it would rain and i had to walk for 15 minutes in it. i'm sure it will happen more than once this semester.
so today in class, we took a test on cathiterization, then we had to demonstrate it on a dummy. i passed both thank you very much. it seems that classes aren't really going to be that bad. i've set myself a schedule of when to study, when to work-out, and when to have down time with justin. it works out really well and i find i have a lot of free time on my hands especially since i found out that i study well while i'm working out. our treadmills at the gym have this great book holder that holds my 20 pound nursing book. also, since my heart is really going, i am awake and concentrating so well. and since i walk on the treadmill about an hour a day, that's one hour less i have to study at home.
did i mention that i had a great hair day today? i figured out why my hair would turn to a frizz ball. or at least how not to let it happen. i pulled my hair back into a ponytail secured with a clip that way i wouldn't get any kinks. and sure enough, when i got to class this morning, i pulled out the clip and my hair was still straight and silky smooth. this is an accomplishment for me because i've had problems with my hair for as long as i could remember thanks to genes that give me half straight half wavy hair that always wants to do the opposite of what i want it to.
well, going to work out....
