Szarvas part 4

Jun 01, 2009 09:50

Hope that today at last I can finish with my pictures from Szarvas. It's just that there was so many things to see... XD
Bird in the field

Weather-signal

Some japanese tree with a bird-house in it's greens

Giant tree split into half... and then concreted, to stop the spliting

Next to this chimney was a building and we heard the sound of a bird calling... since the town Szarvas uses peacock as a symbol we thought maybe we get to see them. But it turned out, that 1st it was held on private ground (T_T) and 2nd: the one moment it flew away before me wasn't enough to make a photo. T_T Sure it wasn't even the normal peacock you normal think of, but some other type.

Blooming flowers on a tree

The way had a nice feeling ^^ "Turn baby, turn!" X3

This looking out from the bushy trees to the clean field... *dreamy*

A bit darkish, but nice!

With mom we found a mysterious way so began to walk on that... and it just got darker, and darker, and the trees were more and more near. We thought maybe it's a wild-way, and laughed how we can get lost in such a little garden. XD

Interesting looking tree-trunk

The trees where so big!!!

And here comming out from the garden, on the way to the exit... and the buffet, to buy an ice-cream in that hot weather. XD

The restaurant we went for - late - lunch.

They were already waiting for us and got things ready on the 1st floor. They shouldn't have... I mean REALLY shouldn't... Cause the stairs were for one person only, and then come up, take the order for drinks, go down and serve them... This they did by every table, and the waitress wasn't at the top of the sittuation. ~.~ We waited for half an hour for our drinks... and then they even forgot to take the food order by our table. #%+!/%!+/! By that time a lot of people became frustrated.
On the 1st picture here you can see how people of our group wait.... as the food came, it was only one plate by each 'round'... and by the married couple that can be seen here the man got to finish by the time the order of his wife came out. X_x

And this I only made since I couldn't understand what a disco-ball does in a restaurant. XD

And then here you can see my moms and my orders. She had the menu called 'Rendezvous' and I ordered 'Mediterran fiesta'. While the names sound nice, I couldn't find much difference in the plates. Not to talk from the dill-yoghourt souce every dish was poured over. Since I'm sensitive to the sugar of milk, I could only eat the part that wasn't swimming in that stuff. X_x And belive me, there was no talk about that sauce, or the cheese on the menu. T_T
Another good example how bad the service was: a girl asked for some pasta. She gets her plate with lots of sauce and some meat... wants to eat... and then realises that the pasta is nowhere on the plate. After half an hour we shouted down to the waitress 'the sauce is OK, but where is the pasta?' They came back saying 'it's on the plate under the sauce... Belive ot not, till we showed it to the waitress they really thought the girl wouldn't notice that there is something missing. And then the waitress goes back to the cook, and after another long wait comes back, saying:
"I'm really sorry but our chef served the last portion of pasta out, and doesn't cook more." Can you belive THAT? And if the girl wouldn't have asked for potatoes instead, they would have let her eat just the sauce.

After eating we still had time to look around in town before going back home... so we choose to visit the Tessedik Sámuel Museum... right across the restaurant. XD
This came quite as a surprise but the museum was great!...
Grrr... my grandmother just came. I need to go down to greet her... X_x Did I mention before how I HATE face-visit like this?
Anyway, I'll finish later, though hope, still today.
