Has anyone come across a way to season broccoli that doesn't involve overly creamy sauces? I usually mix it up with a white sauce, but I'm currently taking recommendations for alternatives...

In other news, I'd forgotten how much I actually enjoy cooking for other people. I had a friend over last nigt...on the menu:
Potato Gnocci in a light Gorgonzolla cheese sauce with
Tuscany bread on the side
Marscapone cheesecake with dulce de leche sauce and a light chocolate ganache.
=)
Tonight was much less eventful: pierogies with corn and broccoli (hence the request for broccoli seasoning...)
