Livingston Legacy 5.1

Welcome back to the Livingston Legacy! Last time around Nyssa became heir, all the other kids got kicked out, and a wedding was had. Now, its time for a honeymoon, because I don't use the outdoor retreat stuff enough.

Nyssa and her new hubby Dimitri rented a nice little cabin in Granite Falls so they could have a couple days to themselves.

The first thing they did was get a fire going.

Then they headed to the dimly lit bedroom that makes for bad pictures and extra editing.

Nyssa: I'm having so much fun.
Definately looks like it.

Dimitri is pretty much a child in a man's body.

I sent them fishing. Mostly just so I could take pretty scenery pics. Sorry. Not really though.

Dimitri: Look at me cooking a fish that I caught. I'm great at this outdoorsy thing!
Right. Sure you are.

Nyssa played horseshoes alone. Nys and Dimitri actually spent most of their honeymoon apart. Avoiding each other on the honeymoon - what a great start to a marriage!

Dimitri came back with some sort of illness.
Dimitri: We're never going camping again.
I thought you were, and I quote 'great at this outdoorsy thing'.
Dimitri: I take it back. I hate the outdoors!

I bought Perfect Patio Stuff, so Nyssa and Dimitri get a nice new hot tub as a wedding gift.

Which they broke in right away of course.

Hot tub woohoo = babies!

This family really likes their chess board.

Auto cleaning - the surest way to win a place in my heart!

I may have forgotten Marj's birthday. I've been really bad with birthdays lately for some reason.

Marj gets a makeover to suit her age a bit better. She looks more like a granny now.
Marj: Bring on the grandkids!

Nyssa's suddenly decided she's interested in fitness.

Nyssa: Is there someone behind me? I feel like there's someone behind me.

Nyssa: No! Daddy, don't go!

Nyssa was pretty broken up about Lachlan's passing - as she should be! It was bittersweet for me. I was hoping he'd be around to at least see Nyssa's first kid, but for the most part he just spent his time wandering aimlessly around the house with nothing to do, so in that way its nice that he out of the way. He will be missed though.

R.I.P. Lachlan Livingston.

Nyssa spent a lot of time sobbing under the covers after Lachlan's death.

Dimitri came home from his first day at work as a sercret agent, completely oblivious to Lachlan's death.
Dimitri: Honey! I'm home!

Meanwhile Marj was heartbroken when she got home.

So basically Dimitri's just a cold hearted jerk is all.

And I don't take a lot of pictures so this is actually Dimitri arriving home for work a couple days later with a promotion to Intelligence Researcher.

Nyssa: Do you think I'll be a good mom?

Marj: Of course you will sweetie, I raised you after all.

Marj loves the hot tub. Every free moment she has is spent in it.
Marj: ZZZZzzzzzZZZZZzzzz...

Nyssa's started writing a mournful lament about Lachlan's death.

I'm glad we still have awhile yet before its Marj's turn to go. I need time to train someone else up in cooking or everyone's gonna starve without her.

Nyssa woke from her afternoon nap to the pains of labour.
Nyssa: Stop narrating and get me to the hospital!
I'm not narrating, I'm commentating.
Nyssa: Whatever you're doing stop it and get this baby out of me!
Okay, okay, calm down!

A baby boy named Darius has been added to the family.

Dimitri: He looks just like me, I can tell!
Actually, he looks just like every other generic sims 4 baby, but if you say so.

Lachlan comes to visit as a ghost.

Nyssa: So how do you like being dead?

Lachlan: It's not bad, I mostly just play video games with Grimmy all day.

Dimitri needs level 4 in 4 different skills for his aspiration, so I decided to get him painting as one of the skills.

Darius became a child and I missed it of course. I've just been missing everything lately.
Darius is a music lover who wants to be an artistic prodigy.

Enjoying some father-son time watching action shows that resemble Indiana Jones.

Darius also spends some time bonding with his grandma over chess.
Darius: Nice move Granny, but you haven't won yet!
Marj: We'll see about that!

Licensing her first song - 'An Ode To My Father'.

Evidently it brought back bad memories.

Darius likes to do his homework out on the patio. Because there aren't tons of perfectly good places to do that inside.
Darius: I like to feel one with nature while I do my math.
Okay then.

These guys have such conflicting schedules they barely have time to talk let alone try for another baby. To top that off I have a hard time getting Nyssa pregnant. Usually my sims all get pregnant first try, but Nyssa does not.

Nyssa's also tired a lot because of her weird work schedule. She ends up taking a lot of naps.

Darius is actually working on his aspiration for once, I almost forgot about it actually. Oops!

Nyssa: This is where you were conceived Darius.
Darius: What does conceived mean?
Do you really think this appropriate right now?

I finally managed to get Nyssa pregnant again. Baby number two is on the way!

Harper and Justice are expecting as well, and I'm excited to see how their kids turn out.

Darius: This is disgusting!
Maybe because your dad made it?
Darius: No, I just hate salad.

This is the expression pretty much permanantly stuck on Nyssa's face throughout her pregnancy.

When she's not in the hot tub, Marj is playing chess.

Someone's actually using the table for once!

The entryway = perfect place to practice violin.
Sims logic.

This little girl is Kacey Goth, and she popped by for a visit so I sent Darius out to get acquainted because its never too early to start browsing for potential spouses. That sounds kind of bad, but its also the truth as far as legacies go. Oh sims, what have you reduced me to?
Darius: So...we're neighbours?
Kacey: Yep.
Darius: Cool.

We'll end here because there are no more pictures xD Next time I don't know what happens 'cause I haven't played sims in a couple weeks, so yeah. There should be a BACC update up shortly. Its tiny and is basically just an introduction of the new household, but hopefully its alright. Anyways, now I'm seriously going to shut up. Thanks for taking the time to read about the Livingston shenanigans!
