(no subject)
this is one different weekend. yesterday i had a massive test. in the evening mike had me be an extra in his movie for a film class. then v came over and we watched 'over the hedge' while i finished my mutant ninja turtle costume. after that i went over to brian's to watch 2 hours of battlestar gallactica.
wake up the next day (sat.)- hey brian, let's go buy a pumpkin and make a jack-o-lantern together! so i buy my 7 dollar pumpkin and we go home happy and with coffee. he pays to have this special design of an orc printed off from a jackolanter site. eventually we find out that in order to occomplish the design, i will need that lil tool specially made for carving, so brian heads out to walmart for it. he comes back with it and another pumpkin, which he announces we will be making into a pie. while the pumpkin rind is cooking for 90 minutes i head home and get cleaned up and pack up some clothes for dinner at ole ole. after i get back to his house a call comes in from his mom saying that we are going to a wedding reception an hour later. i had NOTHING to wear and no time to go back to my apartment for something. so what do i do? that's right- go to walmart! my new black wrap dress and necklace cost a total of 34 dollars, but aparently i looked awesome (picture to come later). the food was amazing, we danced, laughed and had a nice time. 3 1/2 hours later, i'm home and exhausted. what a very strange, unpredicted day.
