Saturday was actually pretty good, even though I was a little light on cash. I went to see Doug Stanhope, who's one of the funniest comedians ever, but just so unapologetically offensive to EVERYONE that I'm pretty sure a few people walked out of the show. Which is funny in and of itself, to me. I almost pissed myself before the end of the show, but that also has a lot to do with the four iced coffees I'd had that afternoon.
Since I didn't have a ton of spending money, I decided to take the bus - the theater was just a straight-shot down Belmont, so it was just one bus each way. Because of THAT I had to dress a little nicer than I normally do when I go out - and by nicer I mean slightly less whorey. Don't get me wrong, the twins were still featured prominently, but it was in a just in a more understated manner. And when I got there I was glad, 'cause the crowd was pretty dude-heavy, maybe pretty "doesn't see many girls naked" heavy, and I think the level of trampiness that's normal to me might've been out of place.
You couldn't smoke in the theater, which annoyed me. That's my only real complaint about the night. I laughed so goddamn hard the whole time, and afterwards I met Stanhope and one of the other comics. I couldn't think of anything clever to say, so I was just like "So funny!" and then I left and caught the bus home.
