As is obvious from the number of entries in this journal, I am new at this. I mentioned my first entry on an email list (UUPoly) and one of the other members (who is actually known to me in real life . . . has twins about the age of ours) asked me my handle and told me his. I looked at his journal and his friends and found a long post about how to perform oral sex on a woman. I thought about this post overnight and tried to comment on it but all I got was an error message. I looked at the community from which it had come (cunnilinctus) and couldn't find it there either . . . but I still have some thoughts about it so failing any other option I'll write some of them here.

The long entry was fascinating, with many suggestions I hadn't thought of and some observations of women's sexual response that I found congruent with my own experience. I kept thinking things like. "Yes! Now, how did he know that!" Most notably, I resonated with his advice not to change anything when orgasm is imminent. (It has just occurred to me that I don't really know that the writer is male.)

However, I did wish I could have responded to the entry because I was a little distressed by a couple of things: referring to a clitoris as "he", for one thing, and the rather aggressive and warlike metaphors used to describe its stimulation. Once the writer suggested treating it as if it were a criminal being interrogated . . .

I don't expect ever to be on the receiving end of oral sex from the writer, but if I were I'd probably relish his skills and deplore his attitude!
