Started law school orientation on Thursday. Thursday was good. It was only a few hours, and we divided into our legal writing groups to formulate the prosecution or defense of fictional people. Got a job FINALLY :P I think most of the large retail chains want to avoid hiring law students. Makes it harder to get away with locking employees in the building overnight so they can't steal anything (HI TARGET). Well, I survived my final quarter with my sanity intact (as much as it ever is anyhow) and graduated. 3 A's, 2 B's, but didn't quite manage cum laude - missed it by .012 :-P Got an apartment in Seattle with Sydney. We shared a room down in Scappoose for a long time, so we know each other pretty well and get along fine, even in tight quarters. ( Read more... )

Grar, stressful week. Have three final papers due today, and finally got them all done and two are turned in. Rowr, moved into the new place. It's nice and big, with lots of storage space, plus much closer to classes and such. New roommate is great - he borrowed his dad's SUV and drove it over from Yakima to help me move. It almost felt like Spring today, riding to my 5pm class. It was still sunny, and the sky perfectly clear, but there was still that bite of winter in the wind hitting my face as I rode, a sharp edge on the soft warmth of sunlight. Things went pretty well today. Oh, I got a B- on my philosophy paper, which I think was somewhat kind of the professor :P Anyhow, I'm happy with grade ... with any grade. No mail today for me :-/ 12 schools left to hear from. I had a test in Civil Practices today. It was open book and everything was word for word in the book, but it took a while to answer everything. About 100 minutes or so. It was extremely draining :P

It's a good thing I have almost no homework this weekend, 'cause I've not been doing any of it at all :P Just need to read for Philosophy which I -will- do. Yeah.
