(no subject)
Not to be alarming here, but I do want to keep people updated on what's going on with me.
I've been having vision issues. At first I thought it was just lack of sleep and staring at computer screens all day, but I soon discovered that there is actually something impairing my vision: my right eye sees two blank spots. I saw two doctors today and am being sent for more tests. It could be something serious or it could be something that will clear up on its own. I don't want anyone to worry or anything, but if you could keep me in your thoughts and prayers a little, and hopefully there will be positive developments soon.
In other news, I'm working on this wicked papier mache mask for Hallowe'en/emergency masquerade ball (listen, it could happen to anyone...you get invited to a costume ball and you don't have a mask! what do you do? where do you turn? well, I will never have that problem). chairen and I have been working on masks for the past few weeks, and mine is getting near completion. It's quite wonderful. Now we just need an event.
Also wonderful is having chairen in Ontario. Some of her sisters might be coming too (though I somehow doubt we'll be able to "collect all four"...will we caile?) Having never had a sister, and having had cousin-time confined to the summers (except last year when goosetrain was here), it is excellent to have someone to share family adventures and creative plots with.
Anyway, time for sleep shortly. I must go to work again tomorrow, though I skipped today to visit doctors.
