Day 2
Day two, the kids were ready for the train adventure to be over already; can't say as I blame them. The constant sway of the coach, while relaxing, does get old rather fast.
Tomorrow we reach the end of our first leg, and change trains (that will be in Kentucky, Missouri). From there we travel to Springfield, as I understand it.
Can't say as I'm overly impressed with the experience, but I haven't been disappointed. Going the distance with the InLaw has rubbed me a bit, but the temper hasn't gotten the best of me; a fact that has me relieved.
Anyway, there isn't really much more to say so far, so i'll leave you with this thought:
Emergancy release latches on second level windows leaves a person wondering how deep the $4!7 can get the further inland you go.....
