Two Molly Gibsons? That is odd. If the father was said to be a doctor instead of shopkeeper, then I would say, our sweet Molly was leading a double life. It must be Cynthia's influence. Does Roger know about this?! Agatha Christie reused names -and even recycled entire plot-lines (short stories became novels).

V. weird about multiple Molly Gibsons. I once saw a letter someone wrote to dear Abby or whomever, saying that in their early twenties they'd used their favorite human name (Emily) on their dog, and would it be weird now to give the same name to their baby girl?
To which everyone answers YES!

Funny story: My friend's mom knew her husband reeeally liked the name Elijah and wanted to name one of his kids that. But she didn't like it so much, so she convinced him to name the dog Elijah, thinking that would put the kibosh on his whole plan. But it didn't, and Elijah is totally the name of my friend's little brother.
