Wizard-loved, Witch-adored and Over Here?
Back in September I noticed, and mentioned here, that my favorite new TV shows all starred British or Australian actors (or both) playing Americans. What I'm now noticing is an odder trend: most of them are or have recently been involved with Harry Potter actors.
Chuck from Pushing Daisies, Anna Friel - has a baby with David Thewlis (Lupin).
Charlie Crewes from Life, Damien Lewis - has a baby with Helen McCrory (Narcissa).
Beth from Moonlight, Sophia Myles - recently broke up (quoth the tabloids) with David Tennant (Barty Crouch Jr.)
I suppose it's not that weird a trend, since British actors date each other even more exuberantly than American ones, and at least half of them have been in an HP movie. But I don't think the Australians should lose out on the fun; someone ought to set Sarah from Chuck up with a Harry Potter actor. Who's single these days? Sean Biggerstaff?
As for Alex O'Loughlin, well... I'm sure we can find someone to go out with him.
