With the shortage of influenza vaccine last year, I didn't get vaccinated since I wasn't in any of the higher risk groups. This year there is no general shortage, though there have been short-term distribution glitches. Because of that, the vaccination has been delayed from October and split into two sessions. The annual free (to employees) influenza vaccination was going on so I did that again this year. I know some dislike needles, and I'm no great fan of them, but the ones used for this are nice and small and not too bad a stick -- and it sure beats having influenza.
