Morning drive

The drive to work was a bit more exciting than I cared for. Bixby road is patchy - some dry pavement, some packed snow or ice. That isn't bad, really. But there was a drift across an icy area and that messes things up. 1. The road to work, with the intersection that is now a 4-way stop, has had a couple changes happen to it recently. One is a reasonable thing. Rumble-strips were cut in to alert folks that yes, there is indeed a stop ahead. As this was a not a stop for years and years, such an added reminder for those who aren't out this way often is a good idea ( Read more... )
