So today I jumped at the chance to transplant the seeds I started indoors in my first grand experiment of the season.  The weather was perfect for such an undertaking: warm, cloudy and mostly breeze-free.

The reason I have a community garden plot is because my previous townhouse did not get enough sun to grow a vegetable garden. I have since moved, but again - sun (or lack thereof) remains an issue. For a variety of reasons, one of the over-riding goals of Plot8 in 2011 will be to minimize the expense involved in producing my Victory Garden. Last year was fairly spendy in terms of building infrastructure and making some costly errors in judgment (BUT! I learned a great deal, so it was not for naught.)
