Firstly, to all of my friends who are mourning, I send you love and strength. And if you want someone to talk to/cry on/scream at, I'm here for you. You've all been there plenty for me.
Random notes:
1. Baked a very good cranberry-apple crisp this morning. I split it 40% Splenda and 60% sugar...I was afraid a 50/50 split would leave the 'crisp' not crispy enough. Seems I made the right call, if the dwindling amount left in the pan is any indication.
2. Work on the house continues...
COMPLETE: Roof, foundation, sills, re-grading/drainage by the front door, new skin-boards or repaired skin-boards on all exterior walls, exterior insulation, floors shimmed, all windows replaced, all upstairs windows framed nad trimmed.
CONTINUING: The downstairs windows are all installed and framed, half still need trim; blown insulation needs to be completed before they put up the siding. Final trim and clean-up.
3. Got an random-ass email from a theater in CT. I applied for a job there, oh, a couple or few weeks ago. The email thanked me for inquiring about a subscription. Odd enough, in and of itself...but it tourns out that it's a Christian theater, completely non-profit, volunteer run, etc. None of which was mentioned in the ad, if I remember correctly. Like I said, weird.
And, a meme:
This is fun to do.
