Watched Salaam Namaste over the weekend. Good Comedy.
The movie is about Nikhil Arora AKA Nick played by Saif Ali Khan who is a qualified Architect but runs a resturant called "Nick Of Time" and Amber AKA Amby played by Preity Zinta who is a medical student working as an RJ for a show titled Salaam Namaste. The movie starts off with Saif missing an interview with Priety. This pisses off her and she starts to make him notorious on the show everyday.
Then the two meet at a friends wedding and start liking each other without knowing each other completely.
Then when they know the truth, they confess about liking each other but do not want to marry immedietly. So they start living together for a few months. In this span, Preity gets pregnant. This scares Saif and both decide to abort the child. This does not happen because Preity begins to like the child. Then there's the usual sobbing and finally Saif begins to realize his mistakes. In the end, Abhishek Bacchan make a guest appearance. Over all the movie is good and has some really funny scenes. The movie also has its share of Double Meaning. What I disliked about the movie is that such serious and delicate matters like child-birth have been used to create comedy which is totally gross.
