A bit late for Torchwood. I was in Danmark for a week and only returned yesterday. The good thing is I managed to finish the second-to-last chapter of The Shade of Somewhere Else. Less good is that I was too tired to proofread it yesterday, or read anything else for that matter. All I did was watch Torchwood and Doctor Who - can never be too tired ( Read more... )

Aw, who cares, keep writing that story! I don't care if Capt John is OOC - for me he already was that in the TW finale. Pfft, as if he's good! I liked him better in episode 1.

About Grey, I think they only cast him for his looks. Because really...he can't act. And I want Owen back so badly. :( (I can accept Tosh dying because she had a proper send off and a lovely video clip, but Owen's one...it just faded to white...)

I loved all of PiC! I can't wait to watch it again, and the mime scene still has me in fits. :D There's a lot more I have to squee about for that episode, but I think I'll hold off on it. ^^ There was one moment where the Doctor was rather OOC, when he said something like, "They're all going to die!" I thought that was rather unusually downbeat of him. But I liked the reference to TRB, about him not killing the Adipose children. I know it's not quite a comparison but it was a nice reminder of how emo the Doctor was then - and he's still emo now, but more depressed rather than vengeful. Not sure if those are the right words, but hey.

So the next chapter of Shade will be coming soon? Awesome. And how can you ever write a bad chapter for that story! I'm a sucker for H/C. :D Hope Denmark was great too!

I liked him better in episode 1.
So did I! There was a great potential for fanfic!

You're right, Owen's story seems... unfinished, somehow.
As for Grey, I didn't even like his looks. besides, no one can tell me that guy is releated to Captain Jack!
Besides - did he call him Jack? I thought that wasn't actually his name!

The Doctor going all panicky and hopless seems a bit odd, yes. But I'm still gonna rewatch it as soon as possible.

Yeah, they killed Owen and brought him back to life and that was great, but why go to all that trouble? Why not just kill him at the end? Sure, he had his advantages in the meantime, but...

There was one bit where Grey did look a bit like Jack. Possibly the scene where Jack gets buried. (I laughed when the first shovel of dirt landed on his face... ^^;;) I'm not sure if Grey called him Jack.

I watched PiC again today at uni, on my friend's laptop! (She brought it especially for that (o__O) and her laptop's not exactly light either.) The panicky/hopeless bit is still so weird to watch. I don't like the Doctor much like that. Still, I'll just assume he's depressed or something. ^^
