Title: Deeper than Bone

Summary: Thor has already lost one shield brother. He will not lose another.

Why it's awesome: I love the friendship between Thor and Tony in the comics, and I like seeing them take care of each other much better than I like seeing them fight. Therefore, I prefer this version of the first meeting between them after Civil War over canon.
Also, Tony could have done with a hug or twenty at that time, and Thor would have been perfect for that. This story is food for my soul in that regard. It's one of those stories that I just go and re-read every now and then.
On top if that, it has the additional touch of Thor being angry with the other Avengers for a change, which I consider a very nice bonus.
