So I finally got around to watching the latest three episodes of Doctor Who. In one go. And what a rollercoaster of emotion that was!
At first we have "Let's Kill Hitler": Fun, full of squee, and River, and Hitler in the cupboard. And little guys in a robot that reminded me of Compassion. And did I mention River?
Then there was "Night Terrors" with creepy dolls in a creepy doll house. Creepy.
And finally "The Girl Who Waited" with an Amy who grew old waiting for 36 years to be rescued. Fucking heartbreaking!
And I knew the Doctor was lying the moment he did it but I still kind of wanted to believe. Old Amy was badass and awesome and tragic. And still in love. Oh Hell.
It gets harder and harder to put into words how much I love Rory. Making him do he choice was cruel of the Doctor - on the other hand I think it was neccessary for him to have that final conversation with the older Amy.
Heartberaking, but one of the best episoed ever!
