One...singular update...now that I have time to sit down...

First of all, Thank you redwing and trotfox for letting us (yet again) invade your home. We really appreicated it (and next time I see you, *I'm* cooking in repayment, dammit).
I really apologize if I had your number and didn't give you a call while we were in town, but the trip was extraordinarily fast, and I'm not sure quite who has my new numbers yet. If you want them, hit me up off-LJ and I'll hook you up.
Next, we had a blast! nemoel, Gabriel and I got seriously held up on 121 trying to make creektoad and preciousrennie's wedding, but we made it (sort of). It was nice to see (and be reintroduced to) familiar faces. *more pursnuggles for the Traveler...*
I apologize greatly if I put out the vibe that I was standoffish, that was NOT intentional, I know of two who I haven't seen in over a year and the memory cells were kind of fuzzy. I will try to stay more in touch. I didn't mean to seem like such an ass.
phoenixgoddess' wonderful man kidnapped me on arrival (and kidnapped me again) to a place where I got to do this and remember how much fun it can be to behave like a total geek and nerd. I also got to hang out much more with familiar faces, like jperegrine.
We got to shock the hell out of rainingdecember and her family, which is always great fun. We went over raindec's headshot and resume for her SMU audition (may she become a 'stang, as the program will be good for her) and watch movies.
Finally we wrapped it up with a whole bunch of hanging out with people. We really miss you all, (especially you kangitanka3, we couldn't raise you...) and eventually we will make the trip more like, you know, two or three weeks...far less hurrying...
Today is the first day I haven't needed all day to recover from the 10-13 hour days I've been working in the office.
For those of you who are interested, I am now official. I have received a raise, and am a supervisor in the office. Yay! ...sort of. ;) The chaos there seems to have ratcheted up, but that might be because I'm trying to run a team and train a team at the same time, and there never seems to be enough hours in the day to keep all the records updated, much less complete all of the side projects I've been given.
I think I need to start...influencing more minions...hmm.....*devious grin*
The two shows I'm working on are picking up steam (and I need to get memorized for one, I'm such a slacker....), more info to follow. I will be in a reading of Julius X next month, and as I find out more I'll post it so you can catch me if you are so inclined. notes from the bottle tree is still up in the air until we get some more things set in stone.
