I think I'm about to strip gears...
But hey, I actually got a sec to post, or is that a sec awake, or....
lol
So, I'm getting promoted actually. They put me on a team of new hires for 3 weeks, then gave me a team of established folks to coach and supervise and I will be evaluated in 90 days. Yay promotion! Different reins, same game. I kind of like it because it's the expanded version of everything I've been working on, but damn do I have to run all over the place. Starting to feel like I used to when I was in the airport and constantly running around in 1/3rd mile groups.
It's also been tons of meetings. And meetings about meetings. But hey, my position has a unique advantage in that I can bridge the issues between my "old" crew and my "new" crew, and that's good.
I've also got two shows cooking right now. The one I've been working on forever, notes from the bottle tree and a new show, which is going to be very very interesting. It may even be performance poetry, which would be exciting, cause it's a new style. Should be a good challenge and I can't wait.
Bout two weeks ago, I got to see kingoberon and that was GrEaTnEsS! I just wish cluegirl was there too. nemoel, the King and I got to walking around Downtown Disney, and I got to watch the two of them talk about photography. It was just too cute. I kinda feel bad that we didn't bring the baby, but it was nice to have some adult time. It was even nicer to have some time with Nemo AND the King.
The only thing that rocked me was the sheer size of everything. It was serious shellshock.
I've seen a couple of very interesting movies, including one that needs another viewing before I review, What the Bleep Do We Know?. It rawked my world. Scientists and Magick-users unite! *giggle*
More on that if I ever get time to put it in 1's and 0's.
I'll holler where I can, if you don't holler back, that's cool, we'll catch up later, I know it.
