i'm not gonna give you the run-down of the past few days, because it takes a lot of energy and i don't think many people even like to read that, hahaha. so!
basically! i ate a bunch of candy, smoked a bunch of ganj, stared at/drooled over a bunch of gorgeous womyn, danced to a bunch of music, laughed at a bunch of nonsense, and hung out with some chill fuckin people (and didn't invest myself in an ounce of drama). i had such a good fucking time. and yea, there were moments where i was uncertain as to whether or not hoppin on the first plane out here was the best idea, but i got over them pretty quickly.
there are a lot of problematic things here. things some people say and things some people do, how some people act. but i'm seeing more and more that if you can let go of that shit temporarily, it's not like giving up your principles. it's learning out to live and let live and enjoying each moment for what it is. and there's nothing wrong with that.
hope y'all are all lovely, friends. off to start studying for that exam on thursday. i kindof maybe haven't read for this class in 2 months, lolllllll. last exam, though!

- john's boyfriend jai spent pretty much all of saturday with the crew we were with. from gabby's to austin's to the festival back to austin's. 2 hours after he left, steph looks around and asks, "hey. where's jai?"
to which tasha asks, "...who's jai??"
and everyone laughs, and john pretends not to be amused. darbrielle and i high-fived her cuz that shit was so right the fuck on. - got fuckin megabaked at krystelle's on friday and fiona kept yelling, "COOKIE" at me. james and nique are right the fuck next to me, calmly discussing whatever, and i'm like OMG AM I THE ONLY ONE SEEING THIS and i laughed for half an hour on that shit. it was hilarious.
- in the parade this morning, this Black womyn on a float looked down at me and asked if i had any chicken wings. i was so bewildered, i didn't know how to answer.
- edgar kissed me last night? and as a i walked away to leave, i nearly got pregnant with how hard he was eyefucking me.
- nelson and i may or may not have made out. but i didn't let that grow into something bigger (which may or may not have been a bad thing; still not sure). but i'm going to have to start behaving more responsibly, and not just acting out every little half-formed idea that occurs to me when i'm stoned, GOD. i'm gonna sit on that one a bit longer and we shall see what comes of it.
- liam and i bought matching rainbow fingerless gloves/armwarmers, and matching rainbow lighters. i showed my mom my lighter and she asked, "you don't be burnin no reefers with that, do you??" to which i laughed for like 15 minutes while she explained that her pastor was talking about how he used to smoke weed. i was like "no, mom. i light candles with it." *deadpan*. one day they're going to figure it out, lmao. and it's probably going to be hilarious.
