Experiences with PCOS?

A while ago I posted about the general chaos that followed after I stopped taking birth control pills. Finally I managed to drag myself out to see my doctor about the whole mess where she informed me that I have classic symptoms of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. I have PCOS and yes it does pose challenges with fertility but I am almost 33 weeks pregnant....so you CAN get pregnant with it ( ... )

Is hypoglycemia a symptom of it? Now it's got me wondering, because some of these symptoms sound like me, and I was diagnosed with hypoglycemia about a year ago.

It could be. I used to think I was hypoglycemic when I was younger. I still get very dizzy & weak sometimes if I don't eat. I haven't researched it though.

I don't have PCOS, but I am a HUGE fan of www.webmd.com, and so I checked it out, and they have a pretty through description of both PCOS, and the treatments.

I put toothpaste on pimples overnight, and that makes them go away. I've never had acne though. My bf, who used to have very bad acne, swears by zovirax or any other brand of coldsore cream. Witch-hazel is good too, as a toner/cleanser. If the acne is caused by the PCOS I don't know how much good anything short of rebalancing your hormones will do? Best of luck!
