Living for the weekends

Feb 12, 2015 07:02

Today is my Friday. Full schedule at work- Culture of Improvement Academy training on Critical Thinking all morning. This afternoon: SharePoint governance meeting, training our Human Resources department on SharePoint, and launching an InfoPath data request form. Luckily it's followed by a 4 day weekend. Breakfast and Friday the 13th tattoos with the hubs tomorrow at Sandi's shop (our Valentine's Day gift to each other)! Nothing big planned the rest, but hopefully a stroll through the Botanic Gardens, coffee, and time together.

Work is busy but rewarding. Most of the time I'm wishing it were a weekend. I did spend two hours watching the Microsoft Windows 10 event with hubs last night, essentially bringing work home, but we both geeked on it.

I can't wait to go to Florida in June. Really looking forward to visiting the childhood haunts- coastal Ormond Beach to Flagler up A1A, Silver Glen & Blue Springs, Hontoon Island on the St Johns River, St Aug's fort and lighthouse, hitting up Snack Jacks for seafood and waking up to the ocean. Of course, my aunt's wedding reception is in there, time with my mom, grandparents, and some old school friends. Clearing out the stuff I left behind.

I am so lucky to share my life with my husband, and share his in return. Everything is better with him.
