Over the weekend Steve Carlson did one of his StageIt shows, and Becca recorded this 8 second video of me and Waffles bed dancing to Steve. Sadly, the embed doesn't seem to be working, This is the first time I've had that happen with YouTube. Anywho, here's the link to the video-
https://youtu.be/UQPCzHkPpl0 Today was Chemo day, and I had a lot of fun watching Supernatural reruns on TNT while I started my treatment. Then, nancy showed up and me and her and Becca had goofy chemo times with lots of bad jokes and silly stuff. I took a small nap, and then it was time to leave. I love that these guys make chemo so easy and fun. I also spent some time before I fell asleep doing the visualizations where you imagine the chemo shrinking and killing your tumor. I'm not sure, but I think studies have been done to show that this is actually something that gives better chemo results. I know for sure that it makes me feel good doing every week while the toxic shit is being pumped into my body.
Tomorrow, Becca and I are going to the Zoo. YAY!!! There are some new exhibits that have opened up over the summer, and I'm really looking forward to checking them out. My guess would be that there will be pics to post from this excursion.
Next Tuesday before I get my chemo, I see my doctor. I have a list of things I want to talk to her about, and at the top of list are talking about hormone replacement therapy to kill the hot flashes, and a new drug for better pain management. Recreationally, I love Norco, but it's just not cutting it with my post chemo back pains.
All in all, I'm feeling really good about my life and feeling super grateful for all of the wonderful people in my life. I know I say it pretty often, but I love you guys so much. Please, give yourselves big hugs from me!
