what if you were livin' yours instead of hatin' mine?
Exams are over. I rocked a 97 on my 8-page Spanish paper, so I'm really proud of my hard work. Know I aced my Dracula exam. If you haven't, read Bram Stoker's Dracula. It truly is the pinnacle of Gothic literature...which just so happens to be my favorite genre. Seriously, it's a wonderful novel. Goal for break: finish Magical Thinking, tackle The Woman in White.
Spent tonight with Brendan. Wanted to make seeing him a priority after his shoulder surgery. I love hanging out with him...he makes me feel 17 again. I love that I can spill my guts to that kid. He's definitely in my top 10 favorite people of all time. Definitely.
On the drive back to northern VA, I listened to nothing but Frank Sinatra. I've decided that the lyrics of "My Way" are my favorite lyrics of any song ever. He was awesome. I wish he were still around so I could have the chance to see him live. That would be an experience.
So glad to be home finally, but that last double-shift at the gym is going to help the bank account bounce back when Xmas shopping is all over. I can't wait to open presents. And make Xmas cookies with Mom + Jess. And wrap presents - I like wrapping.
2007 has been the best year. No tragedies, no drama, no excessive bullshit. I'm healthy + happy. I'm lucky + loved. I am SO HAPPY! 2007 has been so good to me...Karma, man. I believe in it. I'm excited for New Year's. So much to look forward to in 2008!!
