ya know, i'm tired of people saying they don't like "Everybody Loves Raymond". it's a funny show. yea, it's your typical sitcom, and it's no "Seinfeld", but it IS entertaining. and Doris Roberts and Peter Boyle cracks me up. if you haven't seen Young Frankenstein, do it. Mel Brooks is a genius. i like the name Peter.
did anyone see Beowulf? i've heard raving reviews and ones of utter disappointment. i'm trying to decide then whether it would a worthy investment to go see. there's so many movies i wanna see. Sam and i always say we're gonna go, but we usually just end up watching a movie at my apartment instead...convenience trumps all. i think i'll rent Stardust. i sweat Michelle Pfeiffer. if you say you don't, you're probably lying.
i'm really looking forward to Guatemala. we'll probably begin our training pretty soon, so the reality of its nearness is rushing on. 3 months is pretty long to be away from my family, but it'll be a growing experience. i think after i'll know whether international philanthropy service is what i want to do for the rest of my life. if not, it can always be a hobby. and if not, i have no idea what i would do instead. which has been the biggest question eating away at me lately. sometimes i regret not going pre-med. i would've been an awesome doctor. it's fine though, i'm sure i'll be awesome at whatever i do. (that's not meant to sound arrogant, just confident)
22. in middle school, i was always the 2nd oldest of our group of friends because Meg is 6 months ahead of me. it's funny-feeling that now i'm the oldest. sweet age, man. i'm looking forward to it...and the wine, tapas, and gifts that are coming along with it!
oh! big news for those who care: Sam and i decided to move in together! i was hesitant at first to seriously consider the idea just because it's such a huge step, but now i'm really excited when i think about it! we practically do live together already, so it'll be so fun actually sharing a place. where, of course, is the question of the hour! right now i'm pulling for north carolina...
